Gibson plays Walter Black, a successful executive at a toy company who has a problem connecting with his wife, Meredith (Jodie Foster), and his sons, Porter (Anton Yelchin) and Henry (Riley Thomas Stewart). When he can’t stand the depression any longer, Walter does something that at first seems foolish, and then eventually is taken seriously: He comes home with a beaver puppet on his arm and proceeds to talk in a fake Australian accent as the person in charge of Walter’s body.

Henry’s Crime Keanu Reeves plays an innocent man who goes to prison for bank robbery and then, having done the time, decides to commit the crime for real. The film has a handful of good scenes and three charismatic performers (Reeves, Vera Farmiga and James Caan), but it remains flaccid and whimsical – not without appeal, but without enough appeal to compensate for its lack of energy. The Allen Telescope Array is SETI’s collection of 42 radio dishes, each 20 feet (6 meters) wide, at Hat Creek Radio Observatory in Northern California. The dishes work together to scan the heavens for signs of an intelligent civilization out there in the cosmos creating non-random signals.
